Consultation & treatment
Your practitioner will listen to what's happening, examine you, explain their findings in plain English and, where appropriate, begin treatment at the same appointment.
Pay after your visit
No upfront payment. Each consultation is £60, settled after your visit by debit or credit card, or cash — whichever is easier for you.
What we offer
Osteopathy & acupuncture, under one roof
Osteopathy is a system of assessment and manual treatment focused on the muscles, joints and connective tissues, recognised and regulated in the UK by the General Osteopathic Council. Both our osteopaths are registered with the Council and qualified through full-time degree-level training.
Acupuncture can be used alongside osteopathic treatment where appropriate. Ian trained at the British College of Acupuncture (1991–1993) and is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
Every appointment starts with a proper conversation and assessment, so treatment is tailored to you — delivered with warmth and care in a calm, relaxed environment.

Are Ian and Jamie registered osteopaths?
Yes. Ian Elias and Jamie Bell are both registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), the statutory regulator for osteopaths in the UK. Ian qualified from the British School of Osteopathy and is also a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society — you can view Ian’s register entry. Jamie graduated from Swansea University in 2022 with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy.
Do I need a GP referral to see an osteopath?
No. Osteopaths are primary healthcare practitioners, so you can book an appointment directly without a GP referral. If you plan to claim through private health insurance, check your policy first — some insurers ask for a referral.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your practitioner will start with a proper conversation and assessment — listening to what's happening, taking your history and examining you. They will explain their findings in plain English and, where appropriate, begin treatment at the same appointment. You pay the £60 fee after the visit, by card or cash.
